I sit this morning processing images from yesterday’s session with Marie and Alex. Starting my favorite holiday with a cat at my feet, Cash Cab on the TV, and visions of rich autumn colors. I have so much to be thankful for. Here are some of the things I’m thinking of at this moment. I am so thankful…

For food on my table. For good friends who support me and who allow me to be there for them as well. For things made with pumpkin. For warm socks fresh out of the dryer. For DVRs. For Kevin, who is there for my dad every single day. For doctors and researchers who find ways to battle cancer. For comfortable pants. For cute shoes. For good stories that make me laugh, and for love that brings tears to my eyes. For clients who love photography. For the kind of nap that totally knocks me out for 20 minutes. For pleasant, mild autumn days that make you want to be outside. For rainy days to snuggle under a blanket. For to-do lists, and for whoever invented coffee. For people and things and images that inspire me. For a wonderful partner who challenges me and for that way he touches my arm that makes me feel warm and cared for. For family. For my BFF Courtney. For gratitude in everyday life.

And I’m grateful for clients who wear awesome shoes in the leaves, and this ends up happening…
