What? It’s Wednesday already? I could use one of those days like when you’re a kid in middle school, where the days seem to drrrrraaaaaaag on endlessly. Remember those days when it seems like time stretches out in front of you like an endless highway and each minute seems like hours? I’d kind of like one of those right now so I could catch up on some things.

Today is the first in a series of posts about Michelle and Sean’s wedding. They are one of my all-time favorite couples. They’re kind, gracious people who are good to each other, and just a joy to be around. And their wedding was spectacular. I start today at the beginning.

They got ready at the gorgeous Ritz-Carlton on Peachtree.

I love seeing Michelle’s vows written on the Ritz-Carlton stationery.

I love this moment with Michelle and her mom as they put her dress on.

Here is Sean opening his gift from Michelle. I can’t tell you much about it, but it rhymes with, um, shmoo-dwar.

Michelle and Sean decided to see each other before the wedding, and that allowed us to get all the formal photos done before the ceremony. But the best part of that is being there for that intimate moment between them when they first see each other.

Just looking at these photos I can feel Sean’s nervous anticipation of seeing his bride.

And then as Michelle approached and they were finally together, I felt them both relax just being around each other. And the rest of the day just fell together.
