So last week I was listening to The Bert Show, and they had a guys panel talking about, among other things, commitment. One of the guys quoted a friend of his that knew he was ready for marriage because he said that if he “had the opportunity to meet every available person right now, none of them would be HER”. I love that idea. And I love watching couples that feel that way about each other.

On Kara and Eric’s wedding day, we got a little rain. It happened just after the ceremony as we were shooting their formal portraits. I happen to think the rain is romantic, especially if there’s a sheltered spot you can escape to, maybe even huddle together to escape the drops.

This was particularly romantic, because on the balcony overlooking the croquet lawn at Old Edwards Inn has a spectacular view of the countryside, and watching the rain was almost a little hypnotic.
