There’s one part of weddings people don’t talk about. Yeah, we like to talk about the great parts of weddings: the emotion, the love, the beauty, the cake. But there’s a dark side. It’s something we’re all afraid of. It starts innocently enough … people on the dance floor, having a great time, dancing, laughing, singing to a song from the early 80′s we haven’t heard since, oh, maybe the last wedding we were at. But here’s what happens: That song that you loved so much gets stuck in your head ALL WEEKEND, until you lay there in bed Sunday night trying to get to sleep with the chorus repeating over and over and OVER. You say, “Hey, song, get out of my head, I have to work in the morning. Please?” But it won’t. It stays. What song is it? No, I won’t tell you. You know why? Because then it would be stuck in YOUR head too, and you won’t be able to get to sleep tonight so you’ll call me all frustrated at 1 a.m., and I just can’t take responsibility for something like that. You’re welcome.
This morning, I want to share a link with you. Today Occasions Online is showing images from a simply SPECTACULAR display done by Lemiga Events, The Savage Garden, Papered Wonders, I Do Linens, and Sweet Sensations (and photography by ME!) Here’s a teeny preview:
See the rest HERE, at Occasions Online. I remember walking into the room and seeing this display and GASPING. All I can say is WOW.
