Jamillah and Gary’s wedding is a lesson for all: small weddings do not have to be subdued! Even though there were only about 50 people, this reception was just as full of music, dancing and fun as any large wedding I’ve seen.

Let’s start with the first dance. So sweet, and I loved watching everyone watching and taking photos.

After their first dance, they sat down at the gorgeous candle-lit estate table for dinner. And can I just say that the food from the Georgian Terrace was so beautifully presented!

Oh my goodness, this cake. From Highland Bakery. So elegant.

I love these moments as the bride and groom make their way around to talk with everyone. So much love in this room!

And I always love the toasts. These were very funny and sweet, and the great thing about a smaller guest count is that everyone seemed so engaged in listening and participating!

And then the dancing began! Everyone had so much fun, and the dance floor was full. They even had a great soul train line.

It was so much fun being a part of this wedding! So for those of you contemplating a small wedding and wondering if it can be just as much fun: YES, it can!
