Atlanta Biltmore Wedding: Melissa and Leonard

I’ve already heard from a bunch of you how excited you are to see more from Melissa and Leonard’s splendiferous wedding! By the way, I thought splendiferous was a made-up word, but apparently it’s real. Which is good to know except that this wedding is so awesome I want to make up new words to even describe the awesomeness.

I didn’t really introduce you to the couple yesterday, so let’s start by meeting the gorgeous bride, Melissa.

And the handsome groom, Leonard.

I’m so excited to show you this ceremony. Gorgeous elegant design by Michelle Gainey at Lemiga Events.

The Biltmore ballrooms are always gorgeous, but this elegant design is just perfection.Biltmore Atlanta Wedding Ceremony

These gorgeous programs and other paper goods were created by Papered Wonders. I love how perfectly coordinated all these elements are, from the ceremony programs to the cones of flower petals place on the chairs at each row, to the memory candle.

Love these Pomanders, by CR Floral Design.

And how cute are the flower girls?

All the bridesmaids looked gorgeous, and this one carried in the also-beautifully-adorned brides-dog, Bella.

I just know after seeing this you’ll want this: Check out this sign, carried by a girl gleefully announcing “The Bride is coming!”

Here comes the bride sign

And speaking of glee, Melissa’s joyful entrance into the ceremony just warms my heart.

And even better is this view of Leonard, as his breath is taken away at the sight of her.

This is such a lovely and unique part of the ceremony… Melissa and Leonard did a tasting of the elements. They taste each of the elements, sour, bitter, hot and sweet, four tastes symbolizing the elements  of a marriage.

Oh my, what a romantic first kiss.

Sure, there are countless gorgeous and unique details in this wedding, but my absolute FAVORITE part of it is the joyful spirit of the bride and groom. THIS is how you make an exit.

I’ll end with some shots of the wedding party in front of the Biltmore. Aren’t they gorgeous?
