You first met Rachel + Ethan when I showed you their fun, silly, laughter-filled engagement session. Remember, they met at Improv class? Well, they brought all the energy of putting on a show to their wedding. There’s a difference between throwing a party/reception, and entertaining. And they ENTERTAINED. I loved watching them go through the day together, and how there really wasn’t a minute when they weren’t having fun, and bringing that silly, crazy, funny feeling to every one of their guests.
The wedding was at Fernbank, so I couldn’t resist having a little fun with the dinosaurs, and their rings.
And since the wedding ceremony was in the Star Gallery, I thought their invitations were particularly perfect.
Oh, want to hear something cool? Rachel’s dress was her MOTHER’S wedding dress! The old version of the dress was high necked with long sleeves, and they modified it to this elegant, classic dress.
They did a first look, which gave us some time to go around the museum before the ceremony.
And of course we had a little fun with the dinosaurs. And the breeze.
I particularly love this … when the wind picked up Rachel’s veil, Ethan challenged some Michael Jackson.
The ceremony was in the Star Gallery, and Ethan actually made the huppah!
The ceremony was an absolute pleasure to watch. They had FUN. There was humor, touching moments, and even a bit of audience participation. A rousing two thumbs up.
I’ll be back tomorrow with their reception!
