Okay, so yesterday I introduced you to Steph and Mike, and today I’m so excited to show you their The Foundry at Puritan Mill wedding ceremony that was brought together so perfectly by Jordan Flowers at Wedding Belles! This is a day filled with personal elements that I just loved!
Let’s talk about the ceremony decor: I love the beautifully delicate arch, and how the tulle chair adornments and drape really soften the whole look of the room. Creates such a soft rustic look. And you know I love twinkly lights.
I have to say, Steph’s walk down the aisle was a memorable one for me. Note to Grooms: the way Mike looked at her, just beaming from ear to ear, is EXACTLY what brides dream of happening on their wedding day. And Steph’s nervous, emotional walk made it all even better.
They were so adorable and happy during the ceremony!
During the cocktail hour we had a few minutes to go outside and enjoy the twinkly lights.
The reception details are so cool! Since Mike is in the music industry, they brought that in the form of records to both their centerpieces/table numbers and their guestbook. Having guests sign records is just so cool!
And I also loved how the rest of the decor played up the wood features already at The Foundry with some cool rustic details. And the naked cake fit perfectly (in my belly, har har).
Okay and this might sound silly, but on the guest signature table, they also had mints. I cannot tell you how many times after dinner at a wedding I’ve heard people wishing they had a mint. This is a seriously good idea, like for real.
Loved their first dance. Can I say again how much I love twinkly lights, or would that make me a broken record? [I know, bad pun, can’t help myself]
Toasts were sweet, especially from the Maid of Honor. It sounds bad that I like when people make the bride cry, but if it’s because they’re telling stories about how the bride and groom have touched their lives, it’s totally, completely true.
And even their cake cutting and first toast to each other were adorable. But I think this couple would be cute reading the phone book. Do they still make phone books?
The rest of the evening was filled with fun! Oh and the Shutterbooth was a huge hit! They made masks of their faces as kids, and of their dog’s face. SO cute.
And their exit was through ribbon wands, and lots of love.
I have to say, this was such a fun wedding, and thanks so much to Jordan Flowers at Wedding Belles for pulling it all off and making the day such a pleasure!
And if you want more of Steph and Mike, check back in tomorrow for Stephanie’s advice for brides!
