So here we are at the Croquet Lawn at Old Edwards Inn and Spa. What a perfect location for a wedding. There’s a great view even on a rainy day, and something about it is just so romantic. Makes you want to hold hands with someone you love.
I love the soft details. Paper flowers were hung to create an aisle which was strewn with soft, bright petals.
When I process the images from a wedding, I let the images tell me what to do. Some weddings get bright, bold colors, some get softer muted tones. For this wedding, the softness of the setting, as well as the kind, sweet personalities of Kara and Eric, led me to do lots of softer tones and even some aged textures to give these images a timeless feel.
But of course I couldn’t resist playing up the bright pink flowers and deep blue sky.
