Abbi and Aaron’s wedding in November was so filled with personal, creative details that I’m just BURSTING to show you.

Sometimes when there are so many creative details I don’t know where to start. But this one was obvious: the flowers. They look awesome even if you don’t know where they came from, but the story makes them utterly irresistible. Are you ready to fall in love? Because you WILL.

These delicate, rustic bouquets are made from palm fronds.

Bouquets and boutonnieres for wedding party and family are made entirely of palm fronds, while Abbi and Aaron’s are supplemented with real flowers by Honeysuckle Florist in Jasper, GA.

Abbi and Aaron now live in Savannah, and the palm fronds are harvested from palm trees in the area. Homeless people in Savannah can often be seen making and selling these little flowers and selling them for a few dollars on the street.

Before the wedding they found a man in Savannah who took special care to make 65 of these flowers perfect and special for the wedding.

When they first started dating, Aaron took Abbi to Savannah to visit is home town. That weekend he bought her one of those flowers from a man on the street. Abbi still has it in a memory box. Now, by bringing that part of their history into the wedding they have souvenirs of their relationship and wedding day that last forever.
