A delicious bit of summertime wedding bliss for you today. I chose to blog this springtime wedding during this warm weather because it has the brightness of summer mixed with cool pink colors. And at risk of sounding like a fabric softener commercial, the bride has a soft, fresh look that just makes me feel like a cool breeze is blowing through.

There’s something about Sherry and John’s wedding that feels modern Victorian to me. I don’t know if it is the delicate peonies, or the floral details in Sherry’s dress, or maybe just the classic look of both of them combined with the lovely setting of the Wimbish House. But as I blog this, in my head there’s a bit of an old English accent in my voice. (In all fairness, that may also be a side effect of watching too much Downton Abbey)

Sherry and John chose to do a first look outside before the ceremony. I loved having that time to spend with them, especially in such a perfect setting.

A few of my favorite images from this day were taken inside the house. This stairwell is a centerpiece of the mansion, but it seemed particularly fitting with Sherry and John’s style.

And this moment… where Sherry and John go their separate ways before the ceremony. It just does something special for me.

I’ll be back with oh so much more prettiness!
