Holy gorgeous wedding, Batman. Sometimes great vendors come together to create a real work of art, and that’s what happened at Veronica and Marlon’s wedding. I don’t know how Michelle Gainey manages to create something that is both classically beautiful and creative at the same time, but she sure does.
Before we get to the reception though, I want to show you the appetizers the bride and groom were greeted with immediately after the ceremony. You know I love food, but when food is PRETTY…. oh, yeah.
Let’s take a look at the cocktail area. Such an inviting area. Oh, how I love the look of these round settees. And one of my favorite linens.
This escort card display is BEYOND. Between simple elegance of the cards, the padded table supports, the mirrored table, and that almost-too-perfect-did-you-hang-that-just-for-this-event artwork, yeah.
What I love about the reception decor is the simplicity of black and white with the softness of the linens and florals. And orchids. Oh, orchids.
The dance floor had this fabulous monogram, and was flanked by lounge furniture on each side, and the head table opposite the dance floor. LOVE the head table.
And these chair covers? Perfection.
Their first dance was so, so sweet.
And let me tell you about the cake cutting. They managed to make it kinda sexy!
Check out a few more images from the reception. Heartfelt speeches, dancing, laughter. Love.
More fun tomorrow!!
