Last Sunday was The Inspired Bride event, at the Intercontinental Buckhead. This event is one of my favorites all year, because it brings the best Atlanta vendors together and allows them to pull out all the creative stops to show how to turn inspiration into gorgeous reality. This year’s theme was fashion icons, and our designer was Valentino. Valentino is known for his signature red, lace, sophisticated sultry glamour. So how do you turn that into wedding decor?

Let’s start with this amazing cake, by For Goodness Cakes. I adore how the bottom looks like a classic Valentino dress. How do they make it look like fabric?? And these sparkly poppy designs on the top? Holy cow.
And at the entrance to the ceremony was this gorgeous shoe-inspired floral. LOVE.
Jan McBee of La Fete was seriously inspired when she designed this romantic, dramatic tablescape. I especially love the lace gobo on the black drape.
And OH, the linens. The spectacular black lace linen.
Let’s talk florals. Edge Design Group did an amazing job. Guests were able to choose from a variety of Valentino-inspired bouquets.
Let’s take a look at the spectacular stationery, by Hi Note. The ribbon, the lace, and how the menu cards double as place cards? Wow.
And I love this vintage Valentino-inspired sofa. Tux by The Modern Gent. Bride’s gorgeous hair and makeup by Scoobie West.
Beautiful and tasty desserts were from Sift! and food from the Intercontinental Buckhead. Oh my God, the endive app was so delicious.
