Yesterday you read Vannessa’s advice for brides out there, so today let’s look at how awesome her wedding was!
First, I have to say Vannessa and Marvin are absolutely one of the most adorable couples ever. Sure, they’re pretty … easy on the eyes… but this couple could brighten any room with the energy they bring to it. It is a dream for me to photograph (and just spend the day with) people whose emotions are so visible. You can feel their joy and buoyant spirit from the looks on their faces.
They got ready across the street from the Biltmore at the Renaissance Midtown. Such a gorgeous hotel, and the view of the Biltmore is the perfect backdrop for a bride getting ready.
Check out Vannessa’s gorgeous gown. It is a Paloma Blanca gown, from La Raines Bridal Boutique. And the shoes, Badgley Mischka.
The guys got ready there too, and then walked over to the Biltmore.
Love the last minute touchups before Vannessa walked down the aisle.
Oooh, I’m so excited to show you the ceremony setup. I have never seen this ballroom set up for a ceremony in the round before. I loved it! Creates such an intimate feeling that the couple is literally surrounded by their loved ones. I always love the ideas from Brian Green at F&G Weddings.
And the florals were elegant perfection, from Edge Design Group.
Okay, this is where it starts to get fun… from the moment Marvin walked down the aisle, he was BEAMING.
And so was Vannessa!
I cannot tell you how much I adore the look on Vannessa’s face as she reached the stage. And look at Marvin’s Mom beaming right back at her!
Have you ever seen a bride so excited to be getting married? I just want to give her a big hug even now.
There’s always room for a sense of humor, even in a wedding ceremony. Like this moment when the minister asked Vannessa and Marvin to look at each other. How flippin’ cute are they?
And I simply cannot get enough of these radiant, beautiful faces as they exit the ceremony.
