I learned the day of the wedding that not only is this church a big part of Kelly’s family history, but it is also a big part of US history! It turns out this lovely church was built in 1856 and was used as a Union army hospital during the civil war. It’s such a lovely, very southern church.
I love this moment just before the ceremony… when the bridesmaids circled Kelly for a prayer. Then she had a beautiful, serene moment to herself before her father greeted her to walk her down the aisle.
Tomorrow, the lovely reception at the Biltmore Ballrooms!
