Spring is springing, y’all! The trees are blooming, the pollen is pollen-ing. But a few weeks ago, it was still pretty chilly in the ATL when Brandi + Brandon got married at Ray’s on the River.
Let’s start with some pics of Brandi getting ready. I so love this gown, from Encore Bridal.
I fell flat out in love with this lip color! It’s Smashbox Always On Maneater. The metallic shimmer just added that extra WOW factor.
So much awesome emotion at this wedding. Like when the bride’s mom saw her getting ready and had to step out of the room to keep from crying her makeup off.
Once Brandi was dressed, We did a reveal to her mom and then the bridesmaids. I loved seeing them look at her! So much love and happiness!
It was a really pretty winter day at Ray’s on the River.
And there’s something so romantic about a little wind.
Are you ready for the sweetest part of the day? Brandi + Brandon didn’t see each other before the wedding, but they did do a “first touch” where they just held hands. There was laugher, there were tears, and Brandon came to his bride’s rescue with a handkerchief ready for her happy tears.
The ceremony was really lovely, and just before sunset.
I tell you what, every single bride WISHES her husband would look at her like this as she comes down the aisle. This just gives you ALL THE FEELS.
And during a tearful moment, the groomsmen were prepared with handkerchiefs.
This is cool … during the ceremony they tied an actual knot.
LOL, the look on Brandon’s face as they exited the ceremony. PRICELESS.
As the sun set, we headed out for more photos.
Brandi + Brandon were such a joy to watch during the reception. So joyful! So appreciative of each other and of their families and friends.
My favorite part of the reception was the toasts. They were all funny and charming, but especially when Brandon said a few words, there was not a dry eye.
Love the sugar flowers and succulents on the cake! From Kelly’s Cakes Atlanta.
There was lots of dancing, hugs, and fun!
