I have to confess … I call my maternity photo sessions BiB sessions, for Baby in Belly, because “maternity” sounds so matronly to me… dignified, staid, unadventurous. But these sessions can be sexy, fun, and fashionable. Antoinette proves that.
The best clothing for a maternity shoot is something that shows off your shape, either with an open belly or clingy fabric that shows off your shape.
And these sessions aren’t just for the mommy-to-be. When Antoinette’s husband, John, got in the picture, I loved seeing how he looks at her, and the look of excitement and anticipation on their faces. It brings a whole new level of romance into the session.
Then we went outside for a shift into romance. We found this great spot in their neighborhood with a soft, ethereal look. And Antoinette’s dress was perfect! Soft and romantic and flowy. And when she told me she got it from Amazon? Yay! (And there’s a link at the end of this post if you’d like to get one for yourself)
Lots of people ask me where to get great outfits for their maternity sessions. I loved this dress so much I asked Antoinette where she got it, and she was kind enough to share! As an Amazon affiliate, I’ll get a commission if you buy it here.
