Ok, so you saw Dom and Nick’s engagement session, and now I’m back with their wedding. Today I’m focusing on some of the details, which I love because they’re not just pretty, but meaningful. There are so many great ways to bring elements of your history and loved ones into your wedding day, and a wedding is also a great time to turn something ordinary into something beautiful and personal.
For instance, I will never tire of seeing a pretty hanger. It’s so much better than those cardboard dress forms the dresses come on! Something so ordinary turned beautiful and special.
You know how I love pretty shoes. Well, Dom had two pair, and each one had cute decals on the bottom.
The something old, something new tradition is one that I love too, because it is a great way to bring meaningful elements from your life into symbolic form. In this case, Dom had memories of her father and elements of her past made into mementos that were with her all day.
More little details I loved. These stylish tanks for the bridesmaids with their names on them, along with these customized glasses, perfect for toasting with mimosas! They’re so pretty, and I love when bridesmaids gifts are not just pretty, but something they’ll actually use in the future.
And now I pause for some cute kid pictures.
When we got to the Venetian room, the dress had it’s own moment.
I love the moment when a bride puts her dress on and it all starts to feel REAL.
This one is my favorite. Don’t mess up your makeup!! LOL.
And we made good use of the piano at the Venentian Room for Dom’s portraits. Love this!
And the guys…
I’ll be back soon with more images from the wedding ceremony and reception!
