Alexis and Terrance have known each other since they were kids. In church, she sang in the choir and he played the piano. Since music played such a big part in how they met, we made sure to incorporate a piano into their engagement session, and The Venetian Room was the perfect, elegant setting.
My favorite part of the session, was when we got to the piano. Terrance sat down and started to play the most beautiful romantic tune, and Alexis teared up and asked what it was. He said he was just making it up as he went along, and then we both were in tears. Seeing the part music plays in their connection is so beautiful.
You know what’s beautiful? Alexis and Terrance’s ability to absolutely MELT into each other and make the rest of the world disappear.
Then we ventured out to the streets. Seeing how they look at each other just makes me more and more excited for their wedding this weekend. Especially since Michelle Gainey at Lemiga Events is the planner, so I know it’s going to be not just fun, but elegant and gorgeous.
I’m not gonna lie, it was HOT out (and HUMID) so when we were done, they were SO ready to hit the air conditioning! LOL, they’re adorable.
