So I started to think about doing a 2018 retrospective for myself, but it was so hard to even get started. How can I pick favorite photos, or favorite moments? I started to make a selection and found myself choosing waaaay to many photos to put in one post. So I decided to narrow it down, and as I looked through the year and remembered everything, I realized that this year was an exciting one for celebrity events. I was incredibly blessed to be involved with some spectacular and fun events, and I don’t always get to share these right away, plus these are the events people ask me about a lot. So here’s a peek inside the gorgeous celebrity events and photoshoots I did this year.

Let’s start the year with Idris Elba’s daughter Isan’s 16th birthday party. It was an absolute winter wonderland. Designed by Lemiga events at Park Tavern.

Next up: Huncho Day! Quavo from Migos asked The Vanity Group and Lemiga Events to create a birthday celebration for him to give back to the community. Since Quavo grew up in Lawrenceville and went to Berkmar High School, he invited the community out to enjoy this AMAZING Easter egg hunt, carnival, and celebrity football game with some of your favorite rappers playing alongside football stars (yep, that’s Quavo himself defending the Falcons’ Julio Jones). This day was a real gift from Quavo to the people of Lawrenceville.

Then, when Kim Zolciak-Biermann turned 40, her husband Kroy threw her an amazing casino-night party. It was an amazing party, and you’ll see it soon on their reality show, Don’t Be Tardy.

And just a few weeks later, Kim’s sons had birthdays, and I was there for this amazing superhero-themed party. The kids had a BLAST.

The most talked-about event of the year was probably Cardi B.’s baby shower. This is another dream event by The Vanity Group and Lemiga events. They put together a true Bronx Fairy tale, complete with a flower-packed subway train, street food carts, and orchestra and ballet dancers, a baby bodega filled with treats and baby items, a baby reading library, and gorgeous floral-adorned seating areas. You may have seen this one here, in Vogue.

Another cool event was when Drake threw a birthday party for Future. The Vanity Group and Lemiga Events worked their magic again, transforming famed Atlanta strip club Magic City into Future City.

I also worked with some amazing athletes this year. Just a week after Atlanta United won the MLS cup, I was able to shoot the Atlanta United Fantasy Camp, benefiting Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. Here is Julian Gressel inspecting the MLS cup.

Another highlight was working with Atlanta Falcons player Mohammed Sanu. We shot out in front of the Mercedes-Benz stadium and he was so much fun to work with.

I also worked with Tennis star Sloan Stephens, as she became a brand ambassador for Mercedes Benz. If you went to the US Open this year, you had the opportunity to stand next to Sloan and a Mercedes in a life-size standup of this image.

And also at Mercedes-Benz, I had the opportunity to work with two Formula One drivers. It is really, really rare that I take a photo of myself with a celebrity client (I never ask) but in this case when we were done shooting, he offered, so here’s me with Formula 1 Driver Lewis Hamilton.
