Jonathan’s mom wanted to get some shots of her son for Valentine’s cards because he’s just so darn adorable. However, when I showed up he was NOT in the mood for a photo session. But when you have a toddler in a tuxedo, even a little pout makes for cuteness!

My #1 rule for a toddler session is to just go along with what he wanted to do and to no surprise he was all kinds of charming!

Don’t you just love his smiling face?

Most of the time spent photographing a toddler is actually spent chasing him around and letting him play and be happy. One of his favorite spots was “hiding” in this chair. So adorable.

And once he got going, he was ON FIRE. He was all flirty and sweet, and there was a lot of peek-a-boo to be played. I’d pop behind this wall and jump out at him, or else he would run behind the wall and pop out at me. He thought it was hilarious. And this smile is irresistible.

Toward the end of our session, his mom wanted to do something special to announce that she was expecting again, so she gave him the ultrasound image to hold. He looked at it, and then quickly crushed it up and tried to eat it. LOL.
